Air Conditioning, compressor not activating - Armada (Also Titan) TA60 (2004-2015)

updated 8/23/2014
This is how fixed my AC. The problem was the clucth was not engaging. The FSM states measure the intake sensor. Depending on the temperature there is a different in resistance. If sensor measures good you replace the FAC. The FAC is the processor board they fan switch is on. My Intake sensor resistanc e was way too low.  Total cost was $43 for the sensor. Most dealers call the sensor the Sunload sensor. The FSM called it "intake". There is a sunload sensor on dash, but that is not related to AC.

The FSM states to remove dash panel to replace intake sensor. This is not needed! Removal of the glove box will provide tons of easy access.

FSM states 19k ohms at 90 F, I only measured 350 ohms.

Hope this helps.
