Nissan AC repairs

 My 92 AC stopped working after 10 minutes. Then if I park it for 10 minutes it works again. The clutch never disengages. The pressure was OK. I get 40deg F at the vent when it works. But no water out the drain. So I decided to replace the Expansion valve. $25 on ebay for a new one. 

I was not sure how to get the evaporator box out. You can easily remove the 3 bolts holding it in once you remove the glove box and metal piece. I disconnected the lines at the firewall but it did not want to come out. So I removed the dash. I wanted to clean all the vents anyway.

    

After removing the ruber seals in the engine side the box comes out very easily.

Pop off the metal clips and the evap slides out.

Hidden under the foam is 2 screws holding the sensor.
